Top 10 Biblical problems with the Catholic Cults and the Protestant friendly cults, and how the real Jesus is different from both.

(This article/study does not focus on obvious cults, such as Mormonism, Jehovah’s false Witness, “Christian” Science, etc – they are not addressed specifically in this article/study. But, they all fit under the category of: Rome’s lies, and apostate cults.)

10 Key problems with the Catholic Cult

1)  The “pope” pretends to be God on earth, (even deadly force to “prove” it)

2)  The assumptions about Mary, and how the Bible, including Peter, Paul, and Mary, are against Rome

3)  The “pope”, “arch-bishops”, “bishops, and “priests” pretend to be between you and God

4)  The “popes” pretends that God doesn’t hear your prayers directly, you need to go thru a pagan-god or goddess re-imagined and called “saints”

5)  The Vatican cult pretends they are necessary for salvation

6)  The Vatican cult twists all definitions, and then pretends they are infallible

7)  The Vatican cult pretends their traditions are equal to (or sometimes supersede) God’s Word

8)  The Vatican cult regularly promotes the “good” in false religions, also promotes false teachers of other religions as people we should admire and listen to

9)  Short list of Catechism false teachings

10)              The Vatican spawns other cults, false apostles, false prophets, false teachers, and helps false religions rebrand to look more like parts of the one-world religion

You can read and see the errors of Rome in her catechism yourself. Just buy yourself a copy and compare it tightly to Word of God that is living and powerful, and they aren’t adding to it, they are adding to their judgments (Matthew 5:17-20; Proverbs 3:5-6)

Point 1: All “popes” pretend to be God.

The Pope is the head of the church and has the authority of Christ

CCC 882, “The Pope, Bishop of Rome and Peter’s successor, “is the perpetual and visible source and foundation of the unity both of the bishops and the whole company of the faithful.” “For the Roman Pontiff, by reason of his office as Vicar of Christ, and as pastor of the entire (Catholic) Church has full, supreme, and universal power over the whole (Catholic) Church, a power which he can always exercise unhindered.”

CCC 883, “The college or body of bishops has no authority unless united with the Roman Pontiff, Peter’s successor, as its head.” As such, this college has “supreme and full authority over the universal (Catholic) Church; but this power cannot be exercised without the agreement of the Roman Pontiff…”

CCC 2034, “The Roman Pontiff and the bishops are ‘authentic teachers, that is, teachers endowed with the authority of Christ, who preach the faith to the people entrusted to them, the faith to be believed and put into practice.’ The ordinary and universal Magisterium of the Pope and the bishops in communion with him teach the faithful the truth to believe, the charity to practice, the beatitude to hope for.”

Vatican council in Lateran, AD 1215

We excommunicate and anathemize [curse] every heresy which exalts itself against the holy, orthodox and Catholic faith, condemning all heretics, by whatever name they may be known... If laymen, their goods must be confiscated... Secular powers of all ranks and degrees are to be warned, induced, and if necessary, compelled by ecclesiastical censure, to swear that they will exert themselves to the utmost in the defense of the faith and extirpate (kill) all heretics denounced by the Church who shall be found in their territories. And whenever any person shall assume government, whether it be spiritual or temporal, he shall be bound to abide by this decree...” “We decree further that all who may have dealings with heretics (Protestants), and especially such as receive, defend, or encourage them, shall be excommunicated. He shall not be eligible to any public office...” Quote from the Council of Lateran, AD 1215, found on pages 56 to 57 of Chiniquy's book, “50 Years in the Church of Rome”.

Jesuit Catholic Catechism, pg2:

The papal fiat [power] is the guide; What he doth here, in Heaven is ratified; He acts as God, their power so equal are, that God, Christ, Pope have but one Judgment Chair. Then [“than” or “compared to”] Paul or th[e]’ old Law, he’s great and true, he can command ‘[a]gainst Paul and the Gospel too, Can from Rules of Faith, the old casheer [guard/keeper]; And over General Councils domineer; If he to Hell millions should draw, Yet none must ask him why? His will is Law.” (Jesuit Catechism, page 2)

Jesuit Catholic Catechism, pg4:

There is but one Supreme Authority in the world, and that is the Pope.

> Pope Pius IX, the Allocution [formal speech given], September 1851

The Catholic religion, with all its votes, ought to be exclusively dominant in such sort that every other worship shall be banished and interdicted [destroyed, murdered].

> Pope Pius VII, Encyclical, 1808

It was proposed that all religious persuasions should be free and their worship publicly exercised. But we have rejected this article as contrary to the canons and councils of the first Catholic Church [Vatican].

> Brownson’s Review, May 1864

Undoubtedly it is the intention of the pope to possess this country. In this intention he is aided by the Jesuits and all the Catholic prelates and priests.

> Right Reverend O’Connor, Bishop of Pittsburgh

Religious Liberty is merely endured until the opposite can be carried into effect without peril to the Catholic Church [Vatican]

> Father Hecker, Catholic World, July 1870

There is, ere long, to be a state religion in this country [United States], and that state religion is to be the Roman Catholic. 1st. The Roman Catholic is to wield his vote for the purpose of securing Catholic ascendancy in this country. 2nd. All legislation must be governed by the will of God [Vatican’s will], unerringly indicated by the pope. 3rd. Education must be controlled by Catholic authorities, and under education the opinions of the individual and the utterance of the press are included, and many opinions are to be forbidden by the secular arm, under the authority of the Church [Vatican], even to war and bloodshed.

> Boston Pilot, official journal of the Catholic Bishop

No good government can exist without religion, and there can be no religion without an Inquisition, which is wisely designed for the promotion and protection of the true faith [Vatican/Catholic].

> Brownson’s Review, June 1851

The power of the Church [Vatican] exercised over sovereigns in the Middle Ages was not a usurpation, was not derived from the concession of princes or the consent of the people, but was and is held by divine right, and whoso resists it rebels against King of Kings and Lord of Lords [the Vatican’s “pope” is satan’s counterfeit].

> Tamburini, General of the Jesuits

See, sir, from this chamber, I govern, not only to Paris, but to China; not only to China, but to all the world, without anyone knowing how I do it.

> Busenbaum in Lacroix, Theologia Moralis, 1757

A man who has been excommunicated by the Pope may be killed anywhere.

> Catholic Archbishop James Quigley, Chicago Daily Tribune, May 5, 1903

Within twenty years this country [the United States] is going to rule the world. Kings and Emperors will soon pass away and the democracy of the United States will take their place… When the United States rules the world, the Catholic Church will rule the world… Nothing can stand against the Church [Vatican].  I’d like to see the politician who would try to rule against the [Vatican] Church in Chicago.  His reign would be short indeed.

·  But God answers that in His Word, the Bible:

Jesus Himself said: Matthew 16:18, Matthew 10:16-26, Matthew 5:17-18, Matthew 7:13-27, Luke 11:46-54, John 10:10, John 15:18-25, John 18:36, Revelation 2 thru 3, Revelation 19:11 thru Revelation 22

From Peter: 1 Peter 4:3-5, 2 Peter 2:1-22
From Paul: 1 Timothy 4:1-3, Matthew 23:15, Acts 2, Jeremiah 10:2-5, 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1 and 2, Romans 1:18-32, Romans 1-3, Ephesians 2:8-10, Galatians 1:8-9

Also: Exodus 20:13, Deuteronomy 5:17, Deuteronomy 19:11-12, Proverbs 1:10-19, Ephesians 2:2,

All popes have tried to claim to be God’s Throne on earth. They call themselves “Vicars of Christ” and use all wars as deadly force, like the inquisitions and crusades, to counteract anything that opposes their dominion. The Jesuits are their highest order of knights, in Rome, they are called the “militantis regimini”. Read the active Jesuit oath, it’s not old – it’s still active, which calls for alarm concerning the 28 official Jesuit colleges in the US, not to mention the secret ones. ~ Watch and Pray.

++ Another very key set of quotes:

Abraham Lincoln himself said this of Rome and Rome’s Jesuits: “I feel more and more every day that it is not against the Americans of the South, alone, I am fighting. It is more against the Pope of Rome, his Jesuits and their slaves. There are only vary few of the Southern leaders who are not more or less under the influence of the Jesuits, through their wives, family relations, and their friends. Several members of the family of Jeff Davis are under the influence of the Jesuits. Even the Protestant ministers are under the influence of the Jesuits, without suspecting it… Rome is doing here what she has done in Mexico, and all the South American Republics; she is paralysing, by civil war… She divides our nation in order to weaken, subdue and rule it.

…I pity the priests, the bishops, and monks of Rome in the United States when the people realize that they are in great part responsible for the tears and bloodshed in this war. I conceal what I know, for if the people knew the whole truth, this war would turn into a religious war, and at once, take a tenfold more savage bloody character. It would become merciless as all religious wars are. It would become a war of extermination on both sides. The protestants of both the North and the South would surely exterminate the priests and the Jesuits if they could hear what Profess or Morse has said to me of the plots made in the very city of Rome to destroy this republic…

…The true motive power [of the civil war] is secreted behind the thick walls of the Vatican, the colleges and schools of the Jesuits…They have continued in a silent, but most efficacious way, to spread their hatred against our institutions, our laws… and our liberties in such a way that this terrible conflict became unavoidable between the North and South… it is Popery that we owe this terrible civil war… I would have laughed at the man who would have told me that before I became President. But Professor Morse has opened my eyes on that subject… Our people are yet ready to learn and believe those things, and perhaps it is not the proper time to initiate them into the dark mysteries of hell… Sooner or later the nation will know…And then those who have caused those desolations and disasters will be called to give an account.

This war [United States Civil War of 1861-1865] would never have been possible without the sinister influence of the Jesuits. We owe it to the Popery that we now see our land reddened with the blood of her noblest sons. Though there were great differences of opinion , between the South and the North on the question of slavery, neither Jeff Davis nor anyone of the leading men of the Confederacy would have dared to attack the North had they not relied on the promises of the Jesuits that, under the mask of democracy, the money and the arms of the Roman Catholics, even the arms of France, were at their disposal if they would attack us.

One author added this comment to clarify what Rome vocally did just before the start of the US Civil War: “Pope Pius IX never actually signed any kind of alliance or 'statement of support' with the Confederate States of America, but to those who understand the nuance of papal protocol, what he did do was quite astonishing. He acknowledged President Jefferson Davis as the "Honorable President of the Confederate States of America.”

- author quote found at: http://www.seawapa.co/2014/10/The-American-Civil-War-the-Jesuits-and-Abraham-Lincoln.html

Richard W Thompson, Secretary of the Navy (1887-1880)

Mr. Thompson, in his paper “The Papacy and the Civil Power” said it this way:

Nothing is plainer than that, if the principles of the Church of Rome prevail here, our Constitution would necessarily fall. The two cannot exist together. They (principles of the Church Rome) are in open and direct antagonism with the fundamental theory of our government and of all popular government everywhere.

Point 2: Assumptions about Mary

The Perpetual Virginity of Mary, Her Assumption to Heaven, and her oneness with God

CCC 966 “Finally, the Immaculate Virgin, preserved from all stains of original sin, when the course of her earthly life was finished, was taken up body and soul into heavenly glory, and exalted by the Lord as Queen over all things, so that she might be the more fully conformed to her Son, the Lord of lords and conqueror of sin and death. The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin is a singular participation in her Son’s resurrection and an anticipation of the resurrection of other Christians.”

The merit of Mary and the Saints can be applied to Catholics and others

CCC 1477, “This treasury includes as well the prayers and good works of the Blessed Virgin Mary. They are truly immense, unfathomable, and even pristine in their value before God. In the treasury, too, are the prayers and good works of all the saints, all those who have followed in the footsteps of Christ the Lord and by his grace have made their lives holy and carried out the mission in the unity of the Mystical Body.”

Other Catholic Assumptions about Mary

Ø Mary was perfect and sinless

CCC 968, “Her (Mary) role in relation to the (Catholic) Church and to all humanity goes still further. “In a wholly singular way, she cooperated by her obedience, faith, hope, and burning charity in the Savior’s works of restoring supernatural life to souls. For this reason she is a mother to us in the order of grace.””

Ø Mary is Mediatrix,

CCC 969, “… Therefore the Blessed Virgin is invoked in the Church under the titles of Advocate, Helper, Benefactress, and Mediatrix.'”

Ø Mary brings us the gifts of eternal salvation,

CCC 969, “… Taken up to heaven she did not lay aside this saving office but by her manifold intercession continues to bring us the gifts of eternal salvation…”

Ø Mary delivers souls from death,

CCC 966, “…You [Mary] conceived the living God and, by your prayers, will deliver our souls from death.”

·  But God answers that in His Word, the Bible:

About and From Mary: Luke 2:22-35, 2:41-52, John 1:15-36, John 2:1-4, Matthew 13:55-56, Matthew 12:46-50 and Mark 3:20-21 and Luke 8:19-21, John 7:1-8, John 10:25-27

Point 3: “Pope” + hierarchy of Rome pretends to be between God and us

The Catholic church is the one true church

CCC 2105 “The duty of offering God genuine worship concerns man both individually and socially. This is ‘the traditional Catholic teaching on the moral duty of individuals and societies toward the true religion and the one Church of Christ.’ By constantly evangelizing men, the Church works toward enabling them ‘to infuse the Christian spirit into the mentality and mores, laws and structures of the communities in which [they] live.’ The social duty of Christians is to respect and awaken in each man the love of the true and the good. It requires them to make known the worship of the one true religion which subsists in the Catholic and apostolic Church. Christians are called to be the light of the world. Thus, the Church shows forth the kingship of Christ over all creation and in particular over human societies.”

Only the Roman Catholic Church has the authority to interpret Scripture

CCC 100, “The task of interpreting the Word of God authentically has been entrusted solely to the Magisterium of the Church, that is, to the Pope and to the bishops in communion with him.”

> Catholic World, April 1870

The Church [Vatican]… does not and cannot accept, or in any degree favor, liberty in the Protestant sense of liberty.

> Catholic World, July 1870

The Catholic Church is the medium and channel through which the will of God is expressed. While the state has rights, she has them only in virtue and by permission of the Superior Authority [of the Vatican] and that authority can be expressed only through the Church [Vatican].

> Catholic Review, June 1875

Protestantism has not, and never can have, any right where Catholicity has triumphed.

> Cardinal Manning, Tablet, October 9, 1864

I acknowledge no civil power; I am the subject of no prince, and I claim more than this. I claim to be the supreme judge and director of the conscience of men – of the peasants that till the fields, and of the prince that sits upon the throne; of the household that lives in the shade of privacy, and the legislator who makes laws for kingdoms – I am sole, last, supreme judge of what is right and wrong. Moreover, we declare, affirm, define, and pronounce it to be necessary to salvation to every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff [pope].

·  But God answers that in His Word, the Bible:

o   1 Timothy 2:5-7, Hebrews 4:15, Romans 8:26-27, Revelation 1:4-7, Ephesians 3:10-21; continual theme all thru Hebrews: Hebrews 3:1, Hebrews 4:16, Hebrews 5, Hebrews 7:1-3, Hebrews 8:1-5, Hebrews 9,

o   2 Corinthians 11:13-15, 2 Peter 2, Jude, Revelation 17 thru 19

Point 4: The “popes” pretend God doesn’t hear your prayers directly

Prayer to the saints

CCC 2677, “By asking Mary to pray for us, we acknowledge ourselves to be poor sinners and we address ourselves to the ‘Mother of Mercy,’ the All-Holy One. We give ourselves over to her now, in the Today of our lives. And our trust broadens further, already at the present moment, to surrender ‘the hour of our death’ wholly to her care.”

·  But God answers that in His Word, the Bible:

John 14, John 16:23-27, 1 John 5:14; See also: Hebrews 2

Point 5:  The Vatican cult pretends they are necessary for salvation

The Roman Catholic Church is necessary for salvation

CCC 846, “How are we to understand this affirmation, often repeated by the Church Fathers? Re-formulated positively, it means that all salvation comes from Christ the Head through the Church which is his Body: Basing itself on Scripture and Tradition, the Council teaches that the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation: the one Christ is the mediator and the way of salvation; he is present to us in his body which is the Church. He himself explicitly asserted the necessity of faith and Baptism, and thereby affirmed at the same time the necessity of the Church which men enter through Baptism as through a door. Hence they could not be saved who, knowing that the Catholic Church was founded as necessary by God through Christ, would refuse either to enter it or to remain in it.”

The full benefit of Salvation is only through the Roman Catholic Church

“For it is only through Christ’s Catholic Church, which is “the all-embracing means of salvation,” that they can benefit fully from the means of salvation,”  (Vatican 2, Decree on Ecumenism, 3).

Penance is necessary for salvation

CCC 980, “This sacrament of Penance is necessary for salvation for those who have fallen after Baptism, just as Baptism is necessary for salvation for those who have not yet been reborn.”

·  But God answers that in His Word, the Bible:

John 10, John 14:6, Acts 4:12, John 3:16-21, Ephesians 2:8-10, 2 Peter 1:16-21, Acts 2, Acts 15,

Christ laid out His church structure, which satan’s team rejects:

1 Corinthians 12:28-31, Ephesians 4:11-16, Revelation 2:6, 2:15, 3 John 1, Galatians 1:8-9,
1 Timothy 3 thru 4, 2 Timothy 3 thru 4

Point 6:  The Vatican cult twists all definitions, and then pretends they are infallible

Analyze their writings and compare them to the definitions God explains in His Word

>>> See previous examples in this study and other studies who compare the words of Rome to the Word of God. The list of Rome’s errors and false definitions is too long to list here.

The Vatican’s “pope” and hierarchy and their supposed infallibility

CCC 889, “In order to preserve the (Catholic) Church in the purity of the faith handed on by the apostles, Christ who is the Truth willed to confer on her a share of his own infallibility. By a “supernatural sense of faith, the People of God, under the guidance of the (Catholic) Church’s living Magisterium, “unfailingly adheres to his faith”.”

CCC 890 “The mission of the Magisterium is linked to the definitive nature of the covenant established by God with his people in Christ. It is the Magisterium’s task to preserve deviations and defections and to guarantee them the objective possibility of professing the true faith without error. Thus the pastoral duty of the Magisterium is aimed at seeing to it that the People of God abides in the truth that liberates. To fulfill this service, Christ has endowed the Church’s shepherds with the charism of infallibility in matters of faith and morals. The exercise of this charism takes several forms.”

CCC 891 “The Roman pontiff, head of the college of bishops, enjoys this infallibility in virtue of his office… The infallibility promised to the (Catholic) Church is also present in the body of bishops when, together with Peter’s successor, they exercise the Supreme Magisterium, above all in the Ecumenical Council…”

CCC 2034 “The Roman Pontiff and the bishops are “authentic teachers, that is, teachers endowed with the authority of Christ, who preach the faith to the people entrusted to them, the faith to be believed and put into practice.” This ordinary and universal Magisterium of the Pope and bishops in communion with him teach the faithful the truth to believe, the charity to practice, the beatitudes to hope for.”

CCC 2035 “The supreme degree of participation in the authority of Christ is ensured by the charism of infallibility. This infallibility extends as far as does the deposit of divine Revelation; it also extends to all those elements of doctrine, including morals, without which the saving truths of the faith cannot be preserved, explained, or observed.”

Jesuit Catholic Catechism, pg4:

There is but one Supreme Authority in the world, and that is the Pope.

·  But God answers that in His Word, the Bible:

2 Corinthians 11:13-15, 2 Peter 2, Jude, Revelation 17 thru 19

Point 7:  The Vatican cult pretends their traditions are equal to (or sometimes supersede) God’s Word

Sacred Tradition equal to scripture

CCC 82, “As a result the Church, to whom the transmission and interpretation of Revelation are entrusted, does not derive her certainty about all revealed truths from the holy Scriptures alone. Both Scripture and Tradition must be accepted and honored with equal sentiments of devotion and reverence.'”

Bible is “dead” unless reinterpreted and “applied” to modern culture, but the “pope” and team

CCC 108 (a concluding point to CCC105 thru CCC108)

“… Still, the (Catholic) Christian faith is not a “religion of the book”. Christianity is the religion of the “Word” of God, a word which is “not a written and mute word, but the Word which is incarnate and living.” If the Scriptures are not to remain a dead letter, Christ, the eternal Word of the living God, must, through the Holy Spirit , “open [our] minds to understand the Scriptures”.

>> They do not have the right to give themselves the right to add to Gods’ Word. They are neither God-incarnate, nor approved by God, and they prove that by contradicting Him in so many ways, reducing God’s Word for profit and to excuse sins. (2Corinthians 2:17, Acts 20:27)

>> (And this, found among other supposed sacred symbols and explanations of those symbols explained in Rome’s Catechism, and some are odd)

The “seal” (supposedly among the “accepted” traditions)

CCC 698 “The seal is a symbol close to that of anointing. “The Father has set his seal” on Christ and also seals us in him. Because this seal indicates the indelible effect of anointing with the Holy Spirit in the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Orders, the image of the seal (sphragis) has been used in some theological traditions to express the indelible “character” imprinted by these three unrepeatable [meaning: copy-able] sacraments.”

>> That is *not* equal to Scripture. It’s traditions of man, something Jesus said He hates.

·  But God answers that in His Word, the Bible:

Galatians 1:8-9, Revelation 2:1-5, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12-13; Read thru Revelation 2

Point 8: The Vatican cult regularly promotes the “good” in false religions, also promotes false teachers of other religions as people we should admire and listen to

Ecumenical Unity

CCC 814, “From the beginning, this one (Catholic) Church has been marked by a great diversity which comes from both the variety of God’s gifts and the diversity of those who receive them. Within the unity of the People of God, a multiplicity of peoples and cultures is gathered together. Among the (Catholic) Church’s members there are different gifts, offices, conditions, and ways of life. “Holding a rightful place in the communion of the (Catholic) Church, there are also particular Churches that retain their own traditions” The great richness of such diversity is not opposed to the (Catholic) Church’s unity. Yet sin and the burden of its consequences constantly threatens the gift of unity. And so the Apostle has exhorted Christians to “maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”

CCC 815 “What are these bonds of unity? Above all charity “binds everything together in perfect harmony”. But the unity of the pilgrim (Catholic) Church is also assured by invisible bonds of communion:

-- profession of one faith received from the Apostles,

-- common celebration of divine worship, especially the sacraments;

-- apostolic succession through the sacraments of the Holy Orders, maintaining its fraternal concord of God’s family.”

CCC 816 “The sole (Catholic) Church of Christ [is that] which our Savior, after his Resurrection, entrusted to Peter’s pastoral care, commissioning him and the other apostles to extend and rule it… This (Catholic) Church constituted and organized as a society in the present world, subsists in (subsistit in) the Catholic Church, which is governed by the successor of Peter and by the bishops in communion with him.”

“The Second Vatican Council’s Decree on Ecumenicism explains: “For it is through Christ’s Catholic Church alone, which is the universal help toward salvation, that the fullness of the means of salvation can be obtained. It was the apostolic college alone of which Peter is the head, that we believe that our Lord entrusted all the blessings of the New Covenant, in order to establish on earth the one Body of Christ into which all those should be fully incorporated who belong in any way to the People of God.””

>> See also CCC 817 thru CCC 822

Billy Graham, a Jesuit of highest rank, and very close “brother” of Catholic leaders -- including Pope John Paul II, phrased it this way:
Well, Christianity and being a true believer--you know, I think there's the Body of Christ. This comes from all the Christian groups around the world, (and even) outside the Christian groups. I think everybody that loves Christ, or knows Christ, whether they're conscious of it or not, they're members of the Body of Christ. And I don't think that we're going to see a great sweeping revival, that will turn the whole world to Christ at any time. I think James answered that, the Apostle James in the first council in Jerusalem, when he said that God's purpose for this age is to call out a people for His name. And that's what God is doing today, He's calling people out of the world for His name, whether they come from the Muslim world, or the Buddhist world, or the Christian world or the non-believing world, they are members of the Body of Christ because they've been called by God. They may not even know the name of Jesus but they know in their hearts that they need something that they don't have, and they turn to the only light that they have, and I think that they are saved, and that they're going to be with us in heaven… Yes, it is, because I believe that. I've met people in various parts of the world in tribal situations, that they have never seen a Bible or heard about a Bible, and never heard of Jesus, but they've believed in their hearts that there was a God, and they've tried to live a life that was quite apart from the surrounding community in which they lived…” (1997 conversation with Robert Schuller)

Point 10: The Vatican spawns other cults, false apostles, false prophets, false teachers, and helps false religions rebrand to look more like parts of the one-world religion

Interactions with all religions

CCC 39, “In defending the ability of human reason to know God, the (Catholic) Church is expressing her confidence in the possibility of speaking about him to all men and with all men, and therefore of dialogue with other religions, with philosophy and science, as well as with unbelievers and atheists.”

CCC 40, “Since our knowledge of God is limited, our language about him is equally so. We can name God only by taking creatures as our starting point, and in accordance with our limited human ways of knowing and thinking.”

CCC 41, “All creatures bear a certain resemblance to God, most especially man, created in the image and likeness of God. The manifold perfections of creatures -- their truths, their goodness, their beauty – all reflect the infinite perfection of God. Consequently we can name God by taking his creatures’ perfections as our starting point, “for from the greatness and beauty of created things comes a corresponding perception of their Creator.””

CCC 42, “God transcends all creatures. We must therefore continually purify our language of everything in it that is limited, image-bound or imperfect, if we are not to confuse our image of God… with our human representations…”

CCC1936, “On coming in the world, man is not equipped with everything he needs for developing his bodily and spiritual life. He needs others. Differences appear tied to age, physical abilities, intellectual or moral aptitudes, the benefits derived from social commerce, and the distribution of wealth. The “talents” are not distributed equally.”

>> Simply put, in case you got lost in their lofty jargon, is that Rome wants people to explore other cultures and “learn” things from other religions, including “acceptance” of immoral lifestyles. This is proven by what they encourage publicly.

10 Key problems with the Protestant Cults

                        1) Nicolaitan-ism

                        2) Rejection of Christ as the head

                        3) Jesuit and mason training men to act as “pastors”

                        4) 501c3 and other government control chains

                        5) Many false gospels

                        6) Promoting the sin-pleasures of this world, tickling itching ears

                        7) Pagan holidays promoted instead of God’s holidays

                        8) Often very little of God’s Word read or taught

                        9) Calvinism, Arminianism, and other pride-fights

                        10) Promotion of man-centered teachings, not God-centered teachings

·  Nicolaitan-ism

For those who don’t know what Nicolaitan-ism is and why Jesus said He hates it, let’s start there. So, early into the time after Jesus, Jesus’ apostles were leading well, and they were sharing the gospel, training up disciples, and training up leaders of these new home-churches and groups of home-churches in the cities they went. And the true church of Jesus Christ was growing, and growing well. The devil could not allow this, so he played another trick. Quickly in, the apostles and team discovered a problem – some people wanted to get into leadership to get power and money for themselves, Ananias and Sapphira being just one very loud and talked about example. Today’s established “church” on the Protestant side are extreme versions of that problem – men (and some women) promoted to positions of power way too soon (spiritual “novices”) and then they pretend they are the powerful CEOs of a corporation, and everything must bow to them. Today, we have large denomination organizations that rule the little churches in their denominations and oftentimes require regular money payments and in some cases own the properties and buildings of those churches. And that’s not even talking about how the seminaries play “god” and lord it over every pastor and so-called pastor that comes thru their teachings and gets a degree from them.

Simply put, instead of bowing to Jesus, most pastors and so-called pastors bow down to their seminaries, other so-called pastors, denominational power-dogs, and the prideful controlling abusive leaders in the government. They can’t serve two masters – some pastors have already made their choice to serve satan and money, other pastors are still making their choice – what choice is your pastor making? What do his actions and pattern of teachings show?

And then there’s the man-made human hierarchy structure where the rich fakes get promoted to leadership or made “deacons” or “elders”, while the honest-living and honest-teaching poorer members of the congregation might be allowed to teach a Sunday School class, but nothing more than that. That is something Jesus said he hates - man-approved teachers and excluding honest Bible teachers. In Revelation 2, Jesus called out and harshly rebuked those who did this back in AD35 to AD90, using the word “Nicolaitan”. Why that word? Because those who did this man-approval power structure were following a rebel against God who was prominent but a crafty false teacher, a man named Nicholas. So, Nicholas’ followers were called Nicolaitans. This Nicholas might be the same Nicholas mentioned in the Book of Acts.

Definitions:
The word "Nicolaitan" literally means, according to the Greek-Interlinears: "Conquer-

Peoples", which Strong's Notes defines as "a Nicolaite, adherent of Nicolaus." One other note

on this word "Nicolaitan", do you see the word "laitan" in there? That is the word for "laity"

meaning what we call clergy/bishop/pastor.

And easy summation is this is men playing power games and pride fights and pride games – who is the greatest in this little kingdom? Men, stupid, prideful, rebellious, sin-driven men. But ladies in power can tend to do the same thing in a slightly different way – more excusing major sins because they think someone is “cute” or “flatteringly kind”.

So as you can see, this is sin-nature, prideful human-driven leadership that rejects God’s blueprint and pretends they are little “gods”, that no one is allowed to question, ever. That’s a far cry from the many Scriptures in the Old and New Testaments that teach what God’s under-shepherds are like. It’s like night and day.

Biblical definitions and proof:

5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude. And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, and Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte from Antioch, 6 whom they set before the apostles; and when they had prayed, they laid hands on them."” (Acts 6:5)

"6 But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate." (Revelation 2:6)

"15 Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate." (Revelation 2:15)

"1 Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture!' says the LORD. 2 Therefore thus says the LORD God of Israel against the shepherds who feed My people: 'You have scattered My flock, driven them away, and not attended to them. Behold, I will attend to you for the evil of your doings,' says the LORD4 I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them; and they shall fear no more...'" (Jeremiah 23:1-5)

7 Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD: 8 'as I live,' says the Lord GOD, 'surely because My flock became a prey, and My flock became food for every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, nor did My shepherds search for My flock, but the shepherds fed themselves and did not feed My flock.'" -- 9 therefore, O shepherds, hear the Word of the LORD! 10 Thus says the Lord GOD: 'Behold, I AM against the shepherds, and I will require My flock at their hand; I will cause them to cease feeding the sheep, and the shepherds shall feed themselves no more; for I will deliver My flock from their mouths, that they may no longer be food for them.' 11 'For thus says the Lord GOD: "Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. 12 As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day. 13 And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land; I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, in the valleys and in all the inhabited places of the country.'" (Ezekiel 34:7-13)

"6 They love the best places at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues, 7 greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, 'Rabbi, Rabbi.' 8 But you, do not be called 'Rabbi'; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren. 9 Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. 10 And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ. 11 But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted." (Matthew 23:6-12)

9 I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, does not receive us. 10 Therefore, if I come, I will call to mind his deeds which he does, prating against us with malicious words. And not content with that, he himself does not receive the brethren, and forbids those who wish to, putting them out of the church.” (3 John 1:9-10)

"31 The prophets prophesy falsely, And the priests rule by their own power; And My people love to have it so. But what will you do in the end?" (Jeremiah 5:31)

"1 'Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber...' 4 'And when he brings out His own sheep, He goes before them; and the sheep follow Him, for they know His voice. 5 Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers...' 7 'Then Jesus said to them again, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, I AM the Door of the sheep. 8 All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I AM the Door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except only to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. 11 I Am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd gives His life for the sheep. 12 But a hireling, he who is not the Shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. 13 The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. 14 I AM the Good Shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own." (John 10:1,4-5,7-14)

"1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who [religious teachers] creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; 9 but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was." (2 Timothy 3:1-9)

"1 I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His Kingdom: 2 Preach the Word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables." (2 Timothy 4:1-4)

"10 But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves. 11 Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah. 12 These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; 13 raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever." (Jude 1:10-13)

"1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber."
(2 Peter 2:1-3)

"1 The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed: 2 Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; 3 nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock; 4 and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away." (1 Peter 5:1-4)

Especially in America, but also worldwide, all denominations are hierarchy structures, built for control, manipulation and money. And most often with some noticeable false teachings too, and/or covering for idolatry and pagan entertainment in some form, predator behavior or unhealthy addictions, and in many seemingly little ways completely contradicting Jesus. Oddly, what many pagan-loving “pastors” don’t realize is that the games are rigged – literally, so the joke is on them. And it doesn’t take much of any study of God’s Word to see that *all of the world’s favorite shows, books, novels, games, and stories violate all of the rules of eternal righteousness and God’s laws, which are a direct reflection of God’s character.

Those lying shepherds who boast of their greatness and cherry-pick verses and borrow and plagiarize other people’s teachings and “sermons” to make themselves look great and get a following after themselves for money and power – those shepherds are the ones that God hates. And they are all of the top most prominent ones that satan’s fake Christianity system promotes – yes all of those satan is promoting, even craftily/secretly promoting – all of those leaders are liars and thieves just like their spiritual father. The key question here is: Can you spot the difference?

Ø God’s Word corrects that very large problem:

For more verses, study here: 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1 and 2, 2 Timothy 3 and 4

Christ laid out His church structure, which satan’s team rejects:

1 Corinthians 12:28-31, Ephesians 4:11-16, Revelation 2:6, 2:15, 3 John 1, Galatians 1:8-9,

·  Rejection of Christ as head, then Biblical apostles, Biblical prophets, Biblical evangelists, and Biblical pastors/teachers.

Many so-called pastors today are only in it for the career – meaning money. They love this world and try to chase everything in this world they can get for themselves and their family, and some of them don’t realize they are selling little pieces of their soul to get those useless glittery trinkets and brief seconds of “fun”. But we’ll get back to that in a minute.

But it’s because of this key problem: the love of money is their first policy of the leadership. And because money is their actual “god”, they easily and quickly dismiss and reject Christ as Head of their church, and they also reject and banish anyone who would hold them to an honest account or show them to be a fraud.

Truly, if Jesus came to earth and visited to any of the major buildings that call themselves churches today, especially in America, Jesus would be overturning tables and speaking kind words but very direct rebukes to almost all of the so-called pastors you could name. The so-called pastors love this world and reject God and His Word, and that is why almost all of the so-called official “churches” around you with those prominent signs that say “… Church” -- are spiritual dead and dangerous. They refuse to obey and serve Jesus, only doing what is convenient, propping up people’s happy feelings, rarely teaching the conviction and repentance and healthy fear of the Lord and daily growth in obedience = the meat of the WordBut why? Because most leaders don’t actually want their congregants to grow spiritually. They just want spiritual babies. It lets them stay in power and feel powerful without anyone to keep them accountable or to keep their yes-men (and yes-women) accountable.

God’s Word does not play favorites with anyone – not one. If each person looked daily into the perfect law of liberty (James 1:25), they would be honest with God, and themselves, and others. But most people prefect quite a few daily lies to cover their sins and pretend they are fine, and doing even better than most around them. But the truth is if you aren’t daily looking to God’ perfect law and staying in His classroom and trainings daily – you are not walking with Him, it’s just a façade, it’s just show-biz. You are no better than a demonic magician. Why? Because even the demons know some of the Word of God and know that God exists and is holy, and they tremble – but it doesn’t change how they act. Same thing with most so-called “Christians” in America and many so-called “pastors” – they aren’t even saved yet, because they haven’t stopped their sin-driven directions, and started where God says to start.

To be clear, those who love this world have rejected God. And those who love God, reject the sins of this world. They can’t serve two masters – they are choosing one. Which one are they choosing? 15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (1 John 2:15)

So is your pastor a God-approved Biblical pastor? Or is he just another worldly carnal counterfeit whom the equally likeminded and worldly abusive (even predatory) men and women approve of and promote?

26 Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for so did their fathers to the false prophets. (Luke 6:26)

Ø God’s Word corrects that very large problem:

28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? 30 Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? 31 But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way. (1 Corinthians 12:28-31)

11 And Jesus Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ-- 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” (Ephesians 4:11-16)

6 Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, "Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame." 7 Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient, "The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone," 8 and "A stone of stumbling And a rock of offense." They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed. 9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.” (1 Peter 2:6-10)

See also Matthew 23, and yes Jesus’ Words apply to today’s pastors as well as the spiritual leaders of the Jews.

·  Jesuit/Mason trained pastors, not Biblically trained pastors, also Jesuits and masons in all large churches, ruling anti-Biblically

Many of those in pastor positions are in it for a career, yes money. They are trying to do exactly what Jesus said no man can do:
24 No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
” (Matthew 6:24)

>> Mammon is the Greek word that means confidence in wealth and position – meaning it’s what God defines in 1 John 2:15-17: wants of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life. Jesus is being very emphatic here: no one can serve and cling to both, at some point they will come to a cross-roads and they will have to choose one, and then God will make known to all who know them which they chose.

So, it gets worse from there. We have a perverted cult that disguises itself as a men’s club and business club, called Freemasonry, or masonry. To become a member of this club, you have to pledge you undying loyalty above all else to this false “god” that they pretend unifies all false gods GAOTU “Grand Architect of the Universe”. And you have to take off all your belongings (including wedding ring) and put on a special robe and do this special ritual, which in some cases includes signing with your blood. Then you are bound by that blood-oath or just solemn oath to defend your freemason “brethren” even lying before a court of law, as well as telling your wife as little about your secret deals and meetings at all. A follower of Christ cannot and will not be allowed by God to stay in this perverted cult. Unfortunately, because most Americans turn a blind eye, right now the Vatican-created cult, controls all major business in most of the major cities around the world.

What does freemasonry have to do with pastor-ship? Many prominent and even smaller “pastors” are actually masons. I know this firsthand and secondhand. If you look for the clues, you can catch them too. Some of them are very obvious, some are very sneaky – but God says He will reveal them all to those who diligently seek Him and discern and sift *everything* using His Word as the Truth.

1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” (1 John 4:1)

But it gets worse still. Do you know what a Jesuit is? Do you know what training they get? Have you read the Jesuit oath? Did you know that some satanic-trained, Vatican-approved Jesuits pretend to be “pastors”? I personally can name at least 2 or 3 known Jesuits, and some who are very sneaky that have at least gotten Jesuit training, and are approved by Rome.

… I furthermore promise and declare that I will, when opportunity presents, make and wage relentless war, secretly or openly, against all heretics, Protestants and Liberals, as I am directed to do, to extirpate and exterminate them from the face of the whole earth; and that I will spare neither age, sex or condition; and that I will hang, waste, boil, flay, strangle and bury alive these infamous heretics, rip up the stomachs and wombs of their women and crush their infants' heads against the walls, in order to annihilate forever their execrable race. That when the same cannot be done openly, I will secretly use the poisoned cup, the strangulating cord, the steel of the poniard or the leaden bullet, regardless of the honor, rank, dignity, or authority of the person or persons, whatever may be their condition in life, either public or private, as I at any time may be directed so to do by any agent of the Pope or Superior of the Brotherhood of the Holy Faith, of the Society of Jesus.

"In confirmation of which, I hereby dedicate my life, my soul and all my corporal powers, and with this dagger which I now receive, I will subscribe my name written in my own blood, in testimony thereof; and should I prove false or weaken in my determination, may my brethren and fellow soldiers of the Militia of the Pope cut off my hands and my feet, and my throat from ear to ear, my belly opened and sulphur burned therein, with all the punishment that can be inflicted upon me on earth and my soul be tortured by demons in an eternal hell forever!...

That’s a dangerous oath as you see (and a blood-oath/pact as I understand it). And yet Erwin Lutzer and Michael Card and RC Sproul use/used that as their core, and alter/altered their teachings on the Word of God with demonic mythology and demonic psychology, teaching demonic doctrines (including doctrines of Rome) in US churches. John MacArthur, a 5th generation mason and one with high level Jesuit-Kabbalah-satanist training including from Billy Graham himself, is one of the world’s renowned almost-Bible teachers, alongside of (and friends with) false teachers like Rick Warren, John Piper, Francis Chan, Joel Osteen, the Hinn family, and many others. Some of them are Jesuits – figuring out which ones is extremely complicated research. But, all of those individuals (and many more) partner with Rome. As did ones from the past like Martin Luther, John Calvin, Francis Schaeffer, CS Lewis, etc. When you see a so-called Bible teacher quoting a satanic mythologist and philosopher who pretended or pretends to be a Christian, then you need to start questioning that so-called “pastor” too.

Most people would be utterly shocked to learn that the Vatican controls most printing and publishing companies in the US and only the liars get their books sold and promoted. There are very few exceptions to that rule. That’s why the honest ones typically have to self-publish and/or publish for free – satan’s fake “Churchianity” stops lots of honest teaching from being seen and published. And yes, top “Christian corporations” do control the “Christian industry” here in America. It’s a real problem.

·  501c3 and other chains that limit the Bible teaching

Then there’s this huge problem, an elephant in the room that most people don’t notice or discuss. Do you know what a 501c3 accreditation is? 501c3 is an IRS tax-code, and the legality according to our US Constitution is highly questionable for several reasons. Setting that aside for now, what is this 501c3 accreditation?

501c3 is a very popular and often-promoted IRS tax-code that allows a gathering of believers or people of a “faith” to collect, set themselves up as a corporation (for money, though they can call themselves “for profit” or “not for profit”). Then once they are an established corporation (for money), they can then ask the government for approval of existence as well as the right to be “tax-exempt”. So as you can see, they are literally asking for the government’s approval in 2 or 3 major ways. This allows the pagans who most-often rule in US govt, the right to require those 501c3 partners to change what they are teaching and how they are teaching. For instance, the IRS “tax code” has at least a list of 200 requirements that 501c3 “churches” are not allowed to talk about. AND, 501c3 partners are also required by these govt leaders to teach certain things at certain times. Though the rules are not always applied evenly in peaceful times, they are in place for a dictator to rule America quite easily. The 501c3s do get regular updates on what should and should not be taught and emphasized at least several times a year, and/or sometimes once a month. But most often 501c3s lie to cover and/or keep as much of that a secret as possible.

8 Remember that Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, was raised from the dead according to my gospel, 9 for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained. (2 Timothy 2:8-9)

The spiritual mature will probably see at least 100 to 200 false teachings mentioned in this short list. And we apologize that it is cringy, but true. These are popular false teachings right now (especially in America, and being spread widely to the world through our worldly mission agencies), and they are very tricky but very harmful. If you want Biblical answers to these lies, and verses that show it, just send us an email. email.jpg

How many of those false gospels and false teachings have you seen or heard? How many can you answer? Why do false gospels like that matter? Because when someone believes and locks into a false gospel (by choice), they also lock themselves out of salvation. Those who do not make a salvation covenant with Jesus, not entering into salvation, they will not be in Heaven. Do lies hurt us? Yes. Do idols hurt us? Yes. And an honest leader of God calls out these false teaching and provides the Biblical tools needed to refute these lies. If your pastor isn’t teaching them, check to see if they are a Biblical pastor, or a career “pastor” who is led around by his worldly wants and his pride-games and hierarchy pyramid schemes.

Each pastor is supposed to have pledged his oath to Jesus to follow and to teach all of God’s Word. When a pastor tells God “no” that they will not obey that part of God’s Word or teach that part of God’s Word, they start to forfeit God’s Spirit and help. If they say keep saying “no” to God too many times that they will not teach parts of God’s clear Word, eventually they become an apostate – as in leaving the faith, with extra judgment on them from which they cannot return, because God will not let them. Up until they time that “God gave them up” (Romans 1:21, 24, 26, 28), any person and pastor can repent and come back. But no pastor can tell God “no” and be a follower of Jesus or a Biblical pastor. And God isn’t waiting for all of that conversation at His Throne. God also shows publicly which pastors have left the faith and rejected God and gone back to their favorite sins and idols. That is a work that God does actively – if you pay attention to the fruit. Jesus said, you will know them by their fruit. Jesus also said that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Those are things that God makes clear, at least partially here on planet earth. Don’t ignore the clues. Sometimes those are the only pieces that you get to find the honest truth about a crafty deceiver.

Ø God’s Word corrects that very large problem:

15 "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them. (Matthew 7:15-20)

33 "Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. 34 Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. 36 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.
37  For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."
(Matthew 12:33-37)

9 but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.” (2Timothy 3:9)

Also, see previous verses. Also, God explains this very plainly in 2Timothy 4, 2Peter 3, and Jude.

·  The love of the world is encouraged and promoted, tickling itching ears

Many so-called pastors become apostate because of the previous things mentioned… but for more things too. Those who decide to chase and fight for and excuse their loving this world and friendship with the sin and sin-driven people of this world, eventually it leads them astray.

When a pastor will not preach against the sins of TV, movies, music, books, games, etc, they are not being under-shepherds under Christ. Jesus preached against sins of all types. If they do not, they are not following Jesus. That at very least is a strong questioning of if God has appointed them, or if evil-men appointed them.

Ø God’s Word corrects that very large problem:

15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. (1 John 2:15-17)

>> God did not say it’s hard to do – to love the world and Him, He said do not love the world. It’s really very simple wording, but sadly very ignored by both real and fake pastors alike. God cannot work with or use much a pastor or layman who refuses to study and obey His Word, departing from sin and walking closer with God.

And God gets even more specific thru James:

1 Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? 2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. 4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” (James 4:1-4)

>> So, how about you, person or pastor: are you a friend of God and enemy of the sins of this world, or are you a friend of sins and demons and enemy of God? There are only 2 teams. Everything you see and hear and read are sermons – drawing you closer to God, or further from Him. So, my question remains: what is your trajectory? Are you growing closer to God and away from sin? Or are you growing away from sin and more toward God, growing to walk in the purity and holiness He lives in. God will not be mocked – He will not let you do both. The more spiritually mature walk holy regularly, and God can use them to help others get free from slavery to sin.

·  Pagan holidays are promoted and celebrated and pushed (and sort of enforced)

Yes, you read that right, thanks to the false religions around us and the Catholic cult promoting many false gospels, sadly many in the honest churches and in the Protestant cults celebrate the pagan feasts of the world. Christmas isn’t about Jesus, it’s about the Rome “pope” coming as “santa” to give gifts and pretend they are kind, and benevolent, when they are actually diabolical dictators. Jesus wasn’t born and He didn’t die. Jesus *added* a human body to Himself and came down to walk among us to fulfill the Jewish feast of Sukkot. But who among the pagan-filled American Churchianity teaches about it? No… they replace it with the covetousness-filled and idolatry filled pagan Roman folly-day called “Christmas”… which is really just a “mass” celebrating how God was a born a baby… another mock of the Catholic cult. Thanks to the Roman and Catholic influences, people regularly weave in Winter Solstice mythology, occult practices, insults of Jesus, covetousness as idolatry, pretend happiness because of the giving-to-get, and the celebration around/with a fir tree, something God soundly condemned in Jeremiah 10:3-5. No, Christmas is not about Jesus… but Sukkot is.

You see, God Himself established 7 Jewish feasts… and they aren’t just for the Jews. We, who are grafted into Abraham’s family thru Jesus should be celebrating God’s holidays and not satan’s folly-days. When a so-called pastor cannot tell the difference, check to see whom he’s serving, man or God. Gently address the situation with him, let him think it over with the Word of God, and if he takes God’s approach, then he needs to be commended as a man who fears God. But if he rejects God’s Word for man’s traditions, consider that he is becoming an apostate or has become an apostate.

Ø God’s Word corrects that very large problem:

5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. (Colossians 3:5)

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God…  Let love (for Christ) be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. ” (Romans 12:1-2 and 9)

See also Romans 6, 7, and 8

Also, there are so many passages in Scripture talking about how God hates it when His people celebrate pagan festivals and their wants, but do not care about or focus on Him. Here are a few various passages on these topics: Isaiah 1:11-18, Jeremiah 10:3-5, John 1:14, Acts 7, Romans 14

·  Very little of the Word of God is preached (rightly or at all) – for very key reasons

Why have I heard for decades so many sermons and speeches yet with so few verses? Lots of words of man that are not grounded and centered in the Holy and Pure Word of God are useless. It’s man’s doctrine instead of God’s teachings when very few cherry-picked verses are read, and the sermon topics can be counted as less than 10 topics per year. Doctrines according to self-driven and sin-chasing man is what got us into this whole mess to begin with. We can’t keep following those so-called pastors who let sin-nature do the preaching. We need to only follow those pastors who let God’s Word do the preaching. There is a distinct and eternal different. You need to sort out the liars from the truthful, and God’s Word is the only way to do that.

Ø God’s Word corrects that very large problem:

1 I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.” (2 Timothy 4:1-5)

As you can see, whether you are layman the world ignores and pretends you have no right to preach, or you are a pastor whom the world approves, there is still only one choice you have if you are going to claim to be a follower of Jesus and not get exposed as an apostate – preach. the. Word. It’s really very simple. Prove to be a man of God (or woman of God for the positions God does allow) who rightly teaches the Whole Counsel of the Word of God. Daily, in every message, teach the flock of God. Teach them how to study the Bible. Minimize when they want to argue, but feed the hungry. Or you will keep finding the flock scattering from you. Teach the WHOLE counsel of God. But to do that means you will have to be diligent to apply yourself to know the Word of God and teach it. Always remember, most of men’s commentaries are garbage and contradict the passages they pretend to explain. Just study and teach the Word of God, and if you seek God with your whole heart and stay in His presence constantly, He will be your Teacher.

John 10 is very instructional for all teachers. You want to be like your Teacher, Jesus? Study His Words, then and only then will you know what He said, so you can teach what He said. Too many so-called pastors say they teach about Jesus, but rarely do they remind people of what Jesus actually said.

And, to clarify, yes Jesus’ sheep will need reminders. But if you have gotten stuck with only 12 sermon topics, you aren’t doing your job. Study diligently, teach boldly and graciously, and pray fervently that you and the flock put in your care would grow spiritually in holiness and maturity. And you will see God do miracles in hearts around you, as you are faithful to do your work as a minister of the Lord.

·  Calvinism vs Arminianism (and other pride-fights)

So… have you ever heard of a man named John Calvin? Have you heard of his TULIP teachings? What about a man named Arminius? What about his attributed acronym DAISY? Have you heard gnostic philosopher and false teacher RC Sproul’s ROSES acronym?

Did you know all 3 of those skip Bible verses they don’t like? And it doesn’t matter if you look at more of their writings. The more read, the more you see they did not know the real God of the Bible. So, what do we do? Well, we need to agree with the rightly interpreted verses that they are talking about, but also fill in the verses that they each skips, as well as the verses that all 3 skip.

Besides the fact that those creeds skip verses, there’s another key problem here. Why have the churches in America fallen to the level of arguing which man they are following? Are you we not supposed to be ALL following Jesus? Amen?

But that is not the only pride-fights that happen in churches. Sadly many play pride-games over: who is raising their families better, who wears the better clothing, who has better modesty standards, who has the better job, who has better rules for their family, whose beard is better, who knows Hebrew or Greek better, who can memorize quotes from books better, who has more money and therefore should have more clout in the spiritual leadership, which of their rigged idolatrous sports teams is better, etc, etc. The list goes on. Oddly enough, I think most American Christians today would be shocked to see most of those pride-fights answered in the New Testament, because sin-nature hasn’t changed, and neither has God’s replies. All you have to do is read them. God’s Word answers everything a human needs – male or female. You just have to study to find out what God has said. Then you’ll have the answers you need.

Quick review: God hates man’s pride, because it works in the opposite direction as His righteousness. We need gracious Bible discussions in the body of Christ, not prideful ones. The two heart-attitudes of sinful pride and Godly humility - are very different. One will boast that it’s best and that it doesn’t need to listen to anyone. And the other will hear out the person and graciously discern the truth from error.  One is carnal and sin-filled, one is righteous. The rampant pride-fights in our churches and so-called churches is a systemic problem, and it needs to change, ASAP. Only teaching boldly from the literal Word of God, boldly and gently applied, with the silent working of the Holy Spirit, will change it.

Ø God’s Word corrects that very large problem:

11 For it has been declared to me concerning you, my brethren, by those of Chloe's household, that there are contentions among you. 12 Now I say this, that each of you says, "I am of Paul," or "I am of Apollos," or "I am of Cephas," or "I am of Christ." 13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?.." (1 Corinthians 1:11-13)

1 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babies in Christ. 2 I fed you with (spiritual) milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; 3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere (carnal) men? 4 For when one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not carnal? 5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? 6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9 For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, you are God's building.

“10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. 11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. 16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are. 18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, "He catches the wise in their own craftiness"…
” (1 Corinthians 3:1-19)

God allows divisions for a purpose – to edify His followers and to show who refuses to follow Him.

18  For first of all, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are divisions among you, and in part I believe it. 19 For there must also be factions among you, that those who are approved may be recognized among you.” (1 Corinthians 11:18-19)

5 … "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble." 6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.” (1 Peter 5:5-9)

·  Promotion of man-centered teachings, not pure Whole-Counsel of the Word of God

I’m always pleased to see false teaching brought to light in a way that can be discussed and sorted thru. Sadly many common teachings in the current Church situation are man-teachings, not God teachings. And oftentimes, sadly, some people respond to man-teachings and reply with more man-teachings, instead of Biblical teachings.

The list we shared above in the “false gospels” set had both false versions of God and false teaching. There are too many topics to go thru from that list, but here’s a short list of the topics that we the body of Christ need to address, in addition to the list we have already gone thru in the previous 9 points.

> What gets us up in the morning

> Why we go to work

> How to grow in diligence and faithfulness to Christ

> What evangelism is, and how do we do it

> Why we do evangelism

> How we study the Bible

> How husbands discuss things with our wives, even when we disagree

> How we teach our children

> Why we teach our children

> How to disciple

> How to teach what God says when the world says no

> How we handle conflict or correction

> How we handle our relationship with God

> How we pray, and what we should pray

> How we engage in spiritual warfare

> How to find spiritual protection in spiritual warfare

> How we reach out to unsaved family

> How we reach out to satanic family members

> How we handle pressure and trials

> How do we handle persecution for honestly following Jesus

> How we add to our covenant with Christ

> Preparing for eternity

> How to become intercessors for others here and abroad

> How we hold spiritual leaders accountable

> How we hold corrupt government leaders accountable

> How we hold abusers accountable

> How we become shelters for the abused and innocent

> How to provide the homeless and poor with God’s Word and their necessities, including spiritual

11 But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 13 I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate, 14 that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ's appearing, 15 which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen. (1 Timothy 6:11-16)

5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. 10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; 11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 1:5-11

18 Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen. (2 Peter 3:18)

7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. (Galatians 6:7-9)

Reasons Jesus is outside the false gatherings

1)  Jesus is the Head of His church. Those who reject Him (and His teachings) are outside His church

2)  Jesus is our High Priest, all of us can go directly to Him in prayer

3)  Jesus established salvation by a covenant thru and by Him.

4)  God’s Word is the foundation and explanation for all things. Jesus had His servants collect the literal Hebrew and Greek books and assemble them by 100AD

5)  Jesus started the home-church pattern, not the large building and corporation/money-driven model. Jesus established one-day or all days alike, not Rome

6)  Jesus is the One who established honest apostles (none alive today), honest prophets, honest evangelists, honest pastors, honest teachers, honest servants of Christ in the rest of the Body of Christ. Jesus Himself established gifts of the Spirit, some are still around today, some are gone, and some are diminished

7)  Church replacement mythology is of the devil and Rome. God started the nation of Israel and those Gentiles who believe by faith are grafted into the same family as the saved Jews. God keeps His covenants.

8)  Jesus is the One who established the Biblical feasts, not as commands, but as reminders to come into His presence and stay there Jesus still uses His Law to show His character, and correct and grow us

9)  Jesus still uses His Law to show His character, and correct and grow us

·  Jesus is the Head of His church. Those who reject Him (and His teachings) are outside His church

11 This is the 'Stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.' 12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."” (Acts 4:11-12)

16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the preeminent from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence and leadership.” (Colossians 1:16-18)

18 Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, 19 and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God. (Colossians 2:18-19)

10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. (1 Corinthians 3:10-15)

·  Jesus is our High Priest, all of us can go directly to Him in prayer

13 Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. 15 Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it." (Mark 10:13-15)

29 Jesus departed from there, skirted the Sea of Galilee, and went up on the mountain and sat down there. 30 Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus' feet, and He healed them. 31 So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel. (Matthew 15:29-31)

23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. 24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them. 25 Great multitudes followed Him--from Galilee, and from Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan.(Matthew 4:23-25)

>> That is the Jesus we can all pray to. No “saint” needed as a mediator – Jesus is our Mediator.

3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time… (1Timothy 2:3-6)

14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:14-16)

19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, 20 where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek. (Hebrews 6:19-20)

11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. 12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, 14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. (Hebrews 9:11-15)

24 For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; 25 not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another-- 26 He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. 27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, 28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. (Hebrews 9:24-28)

19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews 10:19-25)

·  Jesus established salvation by a covenant thru and by Him.

22 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them and said, "Take, eat; this is My body." 23 Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. 24 And He said to them, "This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many. (Mark 14:22-24)

29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. And again, "The LORD will judge His people." 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (Hebrews 10:29-31)

22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, 23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel. (Hebrews 12:22-24)

20 Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. (Hebrews 13:20-21)

12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:12-14)

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God." (John 3:16-21)

Matthew 5-7 and 13 are crucial to understanding everything Jesus taught.

Mark 4 and Luke 8 are parallel passages to Matthew 13.

>>> What are God’s essential promises from us for the salvation covenant?

(1) He/She must understand that Jesus is God and Messiah, and the only way to Heaven. There is nothing

else and no one else who can cleanse from sin and save our souls. [John 1:29, Acts 4:12, 1Timothy 2:5]

(2) He/She must see and agree that willful sins have temporary and eternal consequences, because all

willful sins are active rebellion against righteousness, and God. [Rom3:23, Galatians 6:7-9, 1John 3:4]

(3) He/She needs to fully realize that holy God must punish all willful sins in Hell (then eternal Lake of

Fire) forever. [Mark 9:44-48, Luke 16:19-31, Revelations 20:11-15]

(4) He/She must start their salvation/sanctification journey by faith only, it’s a multi-part covenant/partnership [Rom10:10, Eph2:8-9]

(5) He/She cannot add human good works to their salvation covenant. [Romans 4:4, Ephesians 2:8-9]

(6) He/She must decide to have child-like trust with God Jesus, not following their clever ways. [Mark

10:14-15, Luke 9:48, 1Corinthians 1:26-31]

(7) He/She must repent to get started, and starting a regular communion/fellowship with God which

includes daily repentance to continue growing and building that covenant with God. [Acts 2:38 + 3:19,

1 John 1:9]

(8) He/She must believe everything they know about God's Word. [John 3, Hebrews 11:6, 1John 5:13]

(9) He/She must accept and obey God’s commands, as a daily continuing growing pattern [2 Cor. 6:17,

1John 1:7] He/She must agree to grow in spending quality time in God’s Word and with Him, to learn

more understanding of God and His pure and holy and beautiful character, and to walks more in His

ways. [Joshua 1:8, Psalm 119:9-18]

(10) He/She must believe and claim Jesus' blood has paid for all of their sins on the cross. [Jn 3:16-21,

Jn1:12-14]

(11) He/She must learn to forgive those who have done them harm as Jesus explained, yet hold them

accountable. [John 17:3-4, See also: Matthew 7:1-6]

(12) He/She must believe that God made the worlds in 6 days as God stated with His own finger in the

10 Commandments. [Exodus 20:11, Exodus 31:16-17, Isaiah 45:11-12, Hebrews 11:3]

(13) He/She must love Jesus first. “Those who love sons or daughters more than Me are not worthy of

Me. And he who does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me.” (Matthew 10:34-39)

We cannot let family, or possessions, or co-workers, or earthly pleasures pull us away from following

Jesus. [Luke 9:57-62; Mark 8:34-38]

(14) He/She must agree that they cannot love God and also love the world's sinful pleasures.

[Matt6:24, 1John 2:15-17, James 4:1-4]

(15) He/She must agree that salvation requires they forsake the covetousness of money which is idolatry

[Colossians 3:5, 1Timothy 6:5-10]

(16) He/She must receive that love of painful truth and tough love from God. [2Thessalonians 2:10]

(17) He/She must accept God's chastening for his/her sins. [Hebrews 12:5-8]

(18) He/She agrees to grow in identifying and running from sexual sins. He/She also needs to be aware

that if they fall into sexual immorality and walk away, they aren’t saved. ...ungodly men turn the

grace of God into lewdness.” (Jude 1:4). There is a group “almost” Christians who said they wanted to

get saved, but later changed their desire from Heaven to listening to demons tempting sexual sins and

lewdness. They let their earthly desires choke the Word of God, and stayed unsaved, and grew to be

hardened in sins. [1 Corinthians 6:18; Romans 12:9; Hebrews 12:15]

(19) He/She must agree to root out sins and false teachings from their hearts. As each grow, they must

let go of false beliefs and idols in their minds, always keeping Christ, following and obeying Him, and

eternity-focus above all. [Matthew 13, Matthew 6:33, Colossians 3:2, Hebrews 12:1-2, 2Peter 1:5-11]

>> identification marker: If he/she loves false teachings, they will come to a crossroads many times

with each false teaching – if they let go of the false teachings to instead follow Christ, that is an

evidence of salvation. If they hold onto the false teaching, it’s evidence they haven’t made the salvation

covenant with Jesus yet. [2Timothy 3:5-6]

(20) He/She must trust their life and death to God's decision, not themselves. [Philippians 1:21]

(21) He/She must decide to be willing to die for their faith like Stephen, if God chooses/allows that (“

if need be…1Peter 1:6), harsh persecution example in Acts 7:59-60. [See also: Revelation 12:11]

(22) He/She must learn not to spend God's grace on their pride or the love of the world. [James 4:6]

(23) He/She must agree to be learning to take up their cross daily and follow Jesus. Everyday, they get

up so serve and walk with Jesus – not their own earth-bound ambitions. [Luke 9:23, 2Peter 1:5-11]

(24) He/She agrees to let God teach them how to reach out to others around them, leading them from

sin to follow Jesus too. [Mark 1:17; Matthew 28:18-20]

·  God’s Word is the foundation and explanation for all things. Jesus had His servants collect the literal Hebrew and Greek books and assemble them by 100AD

12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. (Hebrews 4:12-13)

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

16 For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." 18 And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain. 19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed… 20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:16-21)

·  Jesus started the home-church pattern, not the large building and corporation/money-driven model. Also, Jesus established one-day or all days alike, not Rome.

12 So when He had washed their feet, taken His garments, and sat down again, He said to them, "Do you know what I have done to you? 13 You call me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. 14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. 15 For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. 16 Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. 17 If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.
(
John 13:12-17)

42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers… 46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. (Acts 2:42, 46, 47)

At that time Jesus went through the grain-fields on the Sabbath. And His disciples were hungry, and began to pluck heads of grain and to eat. 2 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to Him, “Look, Your disciples are doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath!” 3 But He said to them, “Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him: 4 how he entered the house of God and ate the showbread which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests? 5 Or have you not read in the law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless? 6 Yet I say to you that in this place there is One greater than the temple. 7 But if you had known what this means, ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the guiltless. 8 For the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.” (Matthew 12:1-8)

27 And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. 28 Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.” (Mark 2:27)

24 Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.” (Galatians 3:24)

"One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind." (Romans 14:5)

"Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given orders to the churches of Galatia, so you must do also: On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper, that there be no collections when I come." (1st Corinthians 16:1-2)

"Now on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul,

ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight." (Acts 20:7)

·  Jesus is the One who established honest apostles (none alive today), honest prophets, honest evangelists, honest pastors, honest teachers, honest servants of Christ in the rest of the Body of Christ. Jesus Himself established gifts of the Spirit, some are still around today, some are gone, and some are diminished

10 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. (1 Peter 4:10-11)

13  For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. (2 Corinthians 11:13-15)

·  “Church Replacement” mythology is of the devil and Rome. God started the nation of Israel and those Gentiles who believe by faith are grafted into the same family as the saved Jews. God keeps His covenants.

30 What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness of faith; 31 but Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, has not attained to the law of righteousness. 32 Why? Because they did not seek it by faith, but as it were, by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumbling stone. (Romans 9:30-32)

1 I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. (Romans 11:1)

11 I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles. 12 Now if their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness! (Romans 11:11-12)

>>> Prophecies about Israel being able to dwell in the Land God promised them, when they follow His law and His ways, and carried away captive when they did not

- Deuteronomy 28 (whole chapter), blessings on everything they do when they walk in God’s ways, but conversely cursing on them when they wander from God’s ways

- Nehemiah 9:5-38, Nehemiah, a prophet of God, reviewing God’s covenant with Abraham, and their journey, and return back to Israel, and their renewed covenant with God, back in the Land of Israel.

·  Jesus still uses His Law to show His character, and correct and grow us

24 Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. (Galatians 3:24-25)

The 10 Commandments are God’s Character in short form. And the fruit of the Spirit are both God’s Character on display and commands for us to grow in, if we have the Holy Spirit.

16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. (Galatians 5:16-25)

6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, 8 whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9 receiving the end of your faith--the salvation of your souls. 10 Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, 11 searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow.” (1 Peter 1:6-11)

21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. 26 If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one's religion is useless. (James 1:21-26)
