Let’s review the facts about John MacArthur

Have you heard that John MacArthur died? Now someone will plan a funeral to say only good things about him. But, the things that they will say, will they be the same things God will say John M.? If the answer was a yes, then we’re talking about a simple misunderstanding of “semantics”. But if what God says about John is very different, we need to see it thru God’s eyes and trust God in His Word, instead of the reduced and altered teachings of JohnM and his loyal yes-men friends.

In the book called “Tale of Two Sons”, JohnM added to Jesus' parable about the 'Prodigal Son' in Luke 15. John added a false conclusion of what happened beyond what Jesus said, and made up a story that the older son killed the father as an ‘honor killing’, though John didn’t use that word that is what he described in graphic detail. But in Jesus’ teaching-parable, the father forgave his prodigal son because his son repented and humbled himself. The father in Jesus' parable is representing our Heavenly Father because He forgives us when we repent and humble ourselves. But that wasn’t good enough for John M. John wanted to insert something that didn’t belong, and stated that the older son killed the Heavenly Father. John's honor killing idea comes from evil religions that do not obey Jesus, and it is one clear clue of how much John hated the honest Jews that God is teaching. Does anyone think Jesus will show kindness to JohnM?

Another very evil teaching and belief of John came up in a Wednesday evening prayer service in the Bible Q-and-A session. The question John answered was about the taking the mark of the beast. Now, Jesus and His favorite angels delivered Revelation to the apostle John, and Jesus was very clear what He was saying (which is found in the honest Greek and honest translations). Jesus gave a severe warning at the end of His message to the apostle John and us, in Revelation 22:18: "If anyone alters the words of judgment in this book, God will add to them the judgments written in the Revelation." But, John implied/stated that those people can (and must) make an agreement with the devil - anti-Christ and accept the mark of the beast to save their life. That is not a little lie, that is a blatant lie. John M violated Jesus' warning when JohnM talked about the people whom Jesus will leave on the Earth, and Jesus’ warnings to them.

Jesus spoke clearly about anyone who alters Jesus’ words and teachings and warnings in the Book of Revelation: "he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God." What JohnM said is they can make that covenant with the devil - anti-Christ, and still “be saved”. Why did JohnM pretend that Jesus lied about that warning in Revelation 14:9-10? We can be sure some of those Church people Jesus will leave here in Rev. 4:1 will follow JohnM's advice. And we know Jesus will judge them exactly as He said in Revelation 14:9-10, and 20:4-5 and 20:12-15. When John was confronted directly (many times) about recanting his anti-Biblical teachings, he simply ignored it (many times, from many people) and then had his attack dog, Phil Johnson, pretend that it’s being misunderstood and twisted. No, JohnM was very clear and very wrong, and refused to repent on it till the day he died. That is very serious. Does anyone think that Jesus has any kind words for JohnM? No, instead JohnM is receiving his reward for the severe trouble he earned, in Hell, awaiting the eternal Lake of Fire.

Many years ago, back in the mid 1980's I actually liked JohnM a lot and I prayed for him a lot. But, there were 3 times that the Holy Spirit let me know that John was committing s*xual adultery with someone that was not Patricia. The first time God told me, I didn't know what to do. The second time the Holy Spirit told me, I called “Grace To You” (GTY), and I waited on hold until I could talk to his secretary. I asked her what John M. was doing right then. She became quiet while she realized that JohnM was not doing what she expected. I didn't tell her what the Holy Spirit told me. Then a few weeks later the Holy Spirit told me that same message again. I knew there was no value in calling GTY again. For those of you whom the Holy Spirit has talked to you, you will understand my point. For those who don’t understand the point, I’ll simply say that when a man has committed adultery more than once or twice, they become hardened in that sin and never can be restored to repentance or obedience.

JohnM and his dad were very good friends with Billy Graham. But Billy G. kept many secrets about his sinful lifestyle, and many other evil secrets. But in the years since Billy G. died, a few of those stories are starting to become known. That includes his false teachings, reducing of God’s Word because he didn’t care about God’s Word, and that includes Billy’s sexual sins (including in Australia). Billy G. said there are other paths to find God's forgiveness in his conversation with Robert Schuller, an audio clip that is still quoted in part and whole by many people. Another thing that is coming to be known about Billy is how many of Billy's friends lived devious and evil lifestyles, and made evil covenants with satan and satan’s leaders. One example that we heard first-hand is about when Billy lived in Key West for several years. One time when my family was staying at a hotel in south Florida, one of Billy's old friends perceived that we were sincere Christians. Billy's friend came over to me and told me that Billy is not who people think he is, and he implied that Billy G. was living in a perverse lifestyle when he was in Key West.

Again, we know that for quite a few years, one of John M.'s friends was Steve Lawson, even while he lived the life of adultery for several years. And when he Steve l. got caught, John M. pretended he didn't know, but instead John M. tried to keep the silence and helped cover-up the seriousness of Steve L's. disqualifying s*xual sins. We also know that JohnM and team covered up the s*xual sins of Philip De Courcy too. Why?

We know for certain that John M. was sexually active apart from his wife, also because of John’s perverse jokes including about David and Bathsheba. God's Word uses the word "abomination" in Leviticus 18:22. What do Bible teachers understand about God's definition of the word "abomination"? Then in Romans 1: 28-32 Paul explains that those types of sinners "also approve of those who practice those sins."

The apostle John teaches "Do not love the sins of the world, and anyone who love those sins, the love of the Father is not leading them." in 1 John 2 :15-17. And James 4:4 teaches "You spiritual adulterers and adulteresses; do you not know that friendship with the world's sins is hatred against God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world's sins does make himself an enemy of God." John M. loved his worldly entertainment, sinful idolatry and pride of sports and his sinful movie entertainment. And John M. didn't keep those sins as secret. So many Church people practiced the same sins. They were thinking that if John M. can do those sins and go to Heaven, then they could too. John's excuse for them was they need to love God more than they love the idolatry of sinful entertainment. John said many times and in many ways that you can love this world, just make sure God is on top of the pile of idols in your heart. That is not what the apostle John said in 1 John 2:15-17, "Do not love the world's sins..."

JohnM made loads of money criticizing the charismatic chaos, while doing the same thing himself. He made way over $1Million salary, plus book revenues and speaking engagements, because the Hershey CFO that he hired said he could. JohnM mistreated anyone who would question him – we’ve met some of them. JohnM pretended he was “unleashing God’s Word, one verse at a time”, but many times, he never stayed accurate to the literal Word of God – he loved the commentaries of men who made it more vague. We have become very familiar with his teachings in the last 20 years of hearing and reading his sermons and study Bibles, etc. And we tell people that you can glean from him… but to be simply honest, John didn’t like the real Jesus he supposedly defended. JohnM was always trying to make a different Jesus, and a different Jesus he could make lots and lots of money on. If you use any of JohnM’s materials, you will have to sort out everything he’s saying and fact-check it literally to the Word of God, even to the Greek level, because John loved to use devious false teachers and “historians” to subtly alter the literal Word of God, and the honest pattern of God in His Word. In James 3, God warns all who would be Bible teachers with a very serious warning: “My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.” (James 3:1) Jesus Himself warned about what JohnM did: “Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven (meaning in Hell); but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.” (Matthew 5:19) Jesus also said: “¹⁵ "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. ¹⁶You will know them by their fruits…¹⁷Every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. ¹⁸ A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. ¹⁹ Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. ²⁰ Therefore by their fruits you will know them. ²¹ "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven. ²²  Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' ²³ And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” (Matthew 7:15-23)

And in Galatians 1, God gave this very strong condemnation warning thru the apostle Paul:

“8 But even if we, or an angel from Heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. 10 Do I now please men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? If I was seeking to still please men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.” (Galatians 1:8-10) Those who intentionally alter the real Jesus and His teachings to create an idol in their image and according to their sin-wants, they are condemned by God under this curse.

John M. has done severe harm to Church people who follow his teaching and lifestyle with worldly entertainment, accepting Billy Graham's sins, and many other seemingly subtle false teachings he wove in his messages. And John M. has done great harm to those who aren't ready to go up to Heaven with Jesus in Revelation 4:1, because he refused to just teach the Word of God literally. Some of those people will believe they can accept the anti-Christ's blasphemies and take the mark of the beast to save their life and survive. John M. was really good at telling perverse jokes, and he gave approval for s*xual sins. But, those who study the Bible themselves do also understand that John M. will suffer everlasting contempt from God against him forever, as God told thru Daniel 12:2.
