The apostle Paul, by the power of the Holy Spirit, described most members of your Church 2,000 years ago in 2 Timothy 3:1-9 (amplified w/context); "In the last days betrayal times will come, Church people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, proud and boasting about themselves, and boasting how they disobeyed their parents. They will blaspheme Jesus many different ways, un-thankful, not obeying God's Word, no love for souls, unforgiving, slanderers, without self control, brutal toward obedient Christians, despisers of good, secretly traitors against Jesus, headstrong, self minded, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, pretense of Christianity while actually denying God's right to be their Savior and Lord to teach them and lead their life. Get away from those types of people."

Intro:

One of the American pastors who lived 100 years ago asked from God the impossible - to visit a Church in America (in 2024) and see how they are doing. The guy’s name was Dwayn (sounds like gain). He was not a strong Bible teacher back then, and you’ll see that he is still too soft spoken when he talked to one of the deacon's wives.

You’ll find I (David) added some more words to the verses of the English translation of God’s Word to help the baby Christians to understand what Jesus was trying to teach.

We are glad that deacon’s wife recorded their conversation. We found their conversation insightful and inspiring. We hope you will too. Let’s listen in.

>> The conversation:

- Pastor Dwayn asked her: Did you know that some of your friends are watching that latest TV series about Jesus. They think it's like watching the Bible on TV, but it's a different Jesus. It's a free TV show that almost never uses God's name in vain. They reduce their Jesus to a mostly good man, isn't that blasphemy? They say it’s just clean entertainment, but how can trampling on Jesus' righteousness be considered clean entertainment? Can you see how that show hurts and damages the souls of Christian?

- Pastor Dwayn asked: Did you know your pastor loves entertaining himself with sports on TV. She said: Don't worry, it's not that bad because he never places bets on his favorite team, and he never drinks beer. We hope he doesn't covet the things of this world from the TV commercials. We are asking if maybe those games stir up his pride and testosterone. We hope he doesn't lust over the cheer-leaders, but he does watch them cheer. The pastor says it's an exciting way to ignore the convictions of his conscience for a while. Your pastor still doesn't know Lost Vegas rigs all sports games to be just entertainment.

- Pastor Dwayn said: for pastor appreciation month (or any time), you can give your pastor the books called "The Fix Is In" written by Brian Tuohy. Brian was a sports worshipper, but he kept losing money on his bets, and it was obvious that someone was fixing the scores by secretly telling the key players what they must do, or not do in those games.

- Pastor Dwayn said that Brian’s research found a hundred court cases against the owners of pro-sports teams. The court cases are interesting to read because those law suits were brought by citizens who kept losing their bets. All judges ruled in favor of the team's owners. Brian's books tell their stories about of the court cases. According to the court's decision; all sports games are categorized as entertainment. There are no laws regulating which team should win, or how the teams should win or lose. So it is legal for Lost Vegas and the owners to secretly pre-plan the scores to enhance the entertainment value; which also enhances Lost Vegas’s mega-profits from the bets on pro and college games.

- Pastor Dwayn also said: The worst part is your pastor forgot that when sinful proud men are competing against the sinful pride of other proud men, it is promoting man's sinful pride. Your pastor forgot 1 Peter 5:5 "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." But you probably remember what James 4:6 says; "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." Then Pastor Dwayn asked: Why should anyone get their spiritual guidance from that type of pastors?

- She said: Well, meanwhile we might be missing all of the fun, because our friends have found the on-line video games, and they also shared their favorite games to their phones, and shared to their friends. Our friends can sit with their computers and phones killing aliens for hours, because it's a great way to forget about the serious things in life. Several of our friends got bored of killing aliens so they moved to more excitement of killing humans. Don't worry a video game of killing people is not the same as killing humans for real. They ask how can they get in trouble for killing aliens or people in a video game? They get the thrills of killing people, without the biological hazards of real blood.

- She said: We have heard the pastor's son is the best at those games. But we are worried that if the Church leaders find out, maybe they would disqualify his dad from being our pastor? Who knows, they might even force that man to quit pretending he is a pastor, and send him away to find a job good for his heart like selling used cars or life insurance.

- Pastor Dwayn said: Did you know that many of your friends at Church like reading various people's life stories on-line. Those personal stories are interesting as they describe what sins they like, and how sin almost got them in serious trouble. She said: Those stories are mostly clean, mixed with the thoughts of the sins they like and why they like those sins. Do not worry about our friends, they didn't do those sins themselves, their heart enjoyed the stories of other people's sins. Why would anyone call those stories sensuality, maybe some can call those stories as lust stories?

- Pastor Dwayn said: Did you know a group of the ladies in the Church are reading romance novels and they share their books with each other? She said: Those books inspire love and lust, it's all the same, right. No, besides that, most of those ladies are old, so what if it's a little naughty. Verbal porn is not as bad as real porn, is it? So those are safe sins because no one gets hurt. She said; we really need to tell the ladies in the choir to keep those naughty books as their own little secret, they know the choir members are supposed to set a Christian example to others in the Church, but they don't know why.

- She said: Those romance books are not as bad as some of the on-line games and the phone games. Some of those games are almost like porn. But do not worry, it's not the same as doing it for real. I heard someone say God can't even see people's thoughts, but I don't know if it's true. Even still those games are not as bad as the games that include devil worship. We all know those devil worship video games are sinful. But they call the devil worship games as a gray area. Do you agree? Are there any Bible verses saying video games about devil worship are sinful?

- She asked: Do you think we should be worried about the kids listening to the love songs on their personal devices, as long as we don't have to hear it? We listened to those type songs before we got saved, and some of us turned out OK, or almost OK. So maybe those kids will turn out OK too. All teens need something to believe in, until they find the right partner, or if they get married.

- She said: We know our close friends are on a better track; they call themselves a foodie, they know where to find the best tasting foods. No, they don't actually love those foods. And no, they don't really mean "Those foods are worth dying for." We hope there are other things in their life that they value more than foods. And we hope maybe they love Jesus more than they love those foods. So maybe they don't fit into loving the sins of the world in 1 John 2:15-17, they just love the food and wine.

- She said: Did you hear our friends got a new kitchen? All of her friends are jealous of her kitchen. Maybe the family will appreciate her more for next Thanks Giving. No, we don't expect anyone to worship her, but now she can get more self appreciation and their admiration.

- She said: But the best story is that other deacon's wife, she got her whole house remodeled, now she thinks her home is like Heaven on Earth. Then she said: But maybe that other deacon's wife has it better because they have a second home in mountains, near the beach. Now they can get away and do anything they want, and no one will criticize their choices.

- But then thoughtfully she said: But you know something. I don't think either of them really know Jesus like they ought to… But, well, they seem happy and that is the most important thing in life...right??

Then she said: But at least most of them thought ahead to build a nest egg for when they retire. When they retire, they will have more time for Jesus, or instead to do everything else they like.

- She said: Both of those deacons are closer to our religion than the head-deacon and his wife. They go on cruises several times a year; his wife tells us about the bathing suits they wear on cruises, and her husband’s nasty drinking and gambling habits. And she tells me some of the more interesting stories about the things the people do on a cruise. I don't think either of them have enough religion in them. They definitely don’t seem to follow Jesus.

- Pastor Dwayn thought for a minute and replied: But, are you sure you’re looking at it how God does?

- Then she said: Good question. You know what? Thinking about it more like God does, I think that our oldest deacon is doing better than all of them. His wife tells me they have Bible studies as a family several times a week, and both of them have morning devotions before they go anywhere, before they do anything. I know if Jesus came back into the sky today to get His Church; I know they would be ready to go with Jesus to Heaven. Maybe, this next year we all should plan to become more like that old deacon and his wife. They have godly peace in their heart, and a righteous reputation, not like the pretend peace of most people in our Church.

>>>

There you go. That’s their conversation. Thought-provoking, huh? And yes, you are correct: it is impossible for that old pastor to come back. Many Christians call those sins as a gray area but never realize God wants us to feel the pressures in life so we will decide if we love God or hate His righteousness – He wants us to grow closer to Him as family forever. Wanna-be-Christians use those distractions as a polite way to tell God to quit talking to them and leave them alone. They don't realize how dangerous it is to tell God "No". If God leaves them alone, they will go to Hell without realizing until it's too late to repent, "...broad is the way which leads to destruction, and many go into eternity by it...narrow is the gate to Heaven and difficult is the way which leads to eternal life, and there are few who find it." Matt. 7:13-14.

>> This Bible study is complied to help you go to Heaven with a warm-welcome as a faithful servant of Jesus, with rewards.

Jesus sent your Church a letter in Revelation 3:14-21, it is even better if explained. Here is that passage amplified with context: "I know your life's values, that you are neither pledged towards God's righteousness, nor openly at war with righteousness. I want you to decide to be pledged to God's righteousness, or be openly at war with Jesus' righteousness. But because you have determined to stay indifferent and luke-warm, I Am watching you to see if I must cast you out of My concerns. You say ' I am successful, and we don't need anything -- but you do not know that you have a conflicted conscience, spiritually poor, spiritually blind, and sinfully shameful.

(Jesus' calls to you to pray) Asking Me to sell you gold in Heaven to decorate your mansion. Heavenly gold rewards are for life's trials that cleansed your life, that you may become truly wealthy. And ask to buy from Me righteous white garments that your sinfulness may be covered. And pray for My eye salve so you can see honest spiritual values. Everyone I love, I also rebuke, and chasten. Therefore be zealous against your sins. That is true repentance. Behold I stand outside your Church, knocking at the door of your heart, not the Churches door. If anyone wants to hear My voice, and then opens their heart, I will come into their life and have glorious fellowship with them. Those who overcome the sins in their lives, I will grant them to sit with Me on My thrones to rule, just like I sat down with My Father, ruling the Kingdom with Him from His thrones. "

We wish the Bible translators would include several more words in many places. Yes the Bible would be a little larger, but the younger Christians would better understand what they read in the Bible. You might notice this Bible study adds words to bring out the original meaning better for the new Christians.

Eternal righteousness has rules. The Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit must follow the rules of eternal righteousness or they get in serious trouble. The minute you and I were conceived, we became an eternal being. We will never stop existing. The only remaining question is where will we live forever? God has made every thing available. He offers you a mansion in Heaven. If you make a salvation covenant and keep it to the end overcome your sins, Hebrews 3:6, then God will give you a mansion. It will be your mansion forever. Eternal righteousness requires you to make important decisions about your eternity.

Jesus said in Luke 21:36 explained as, "Watch therefore and focus your life to be ready for My return. And pray always that your spiritual life will grow obedient and be counted worthy to escape the 7 year Tribulation I will send against the rebels I leave on the Earth. Pray that I will make you ready to stand in obedience when I, the Son of Man return." Christians need to know that Jesus is a holy Gentleman; if you hate it when He corrects you, they He will leave you in your favorite sins until you feel the pain of your self destruction. Then maybe you will cry out to Jesus for help. "Do not be deceived, God cannot be mocked; what ever seeds your lifestyle plants, that is what will grow in your life. If you plant the fun of sins, you are destroying your soul. If you plant Biblical truth with obedience, your spiritual life will grow into maturity and everlasting life with rewards." Galatians 6:7.

Every Christian needs to learn 1 John 2:15-17, "Do not love the sins of this world or the stuff in this world. Anyone who loves this sinful world, does not have the Father's love ruling in their life. --For all that is from this world; the lusts of sinful flesh, the wants of greedy eyes, and the pride of getting the sins we want-- are not from our Righteous Father but are from this sinful world. This sin cursed world will burn away, completely, and with the sins from it, but those who learn the will of our Righteous Father will abide and rule the Kingdom with God forever."

How can a-wanna-be-Christian get saved? Does the sinners prayer save them? It's a good start because the sinners prayer is a request for Jesus to make a salvation covenant with them. But they must finish and complete their covenant by making the promises that Jesus requires in the 4 gospels. People can't buy a house or get married or buy a car by saying 'I want that.'. Also they can't complete their salvation covenant by saying I want to go to Heaven. All covenants have requirements of both parties. Many say a sinner's prayer and the pastor says that is all there is to getting saved. But after a while many wanna-be-Christians hear the Holy Spirit proving that their sinners prayer didn't solve everything. And they can feel it, they know they are missing something, they feel incomplete.

Then many wanna-be-Christians ask the pastor what they are missing, but he doesn't know, so he says 'Write that day you prayed the sinner's prayer in the front of your Bible, and never double check your relationship with God, even if you feel like you are missing something'. Ouch, and do not listen to that pastor. Is that the same pastor that allows the Church people to sing, 'I'm a friend of God, He calls me friend'? But Jesus told His disciples "You are My friends if you do whatever I command you." in John 15:14.

Jesus teaches that salvation is a covenant in Matt. 26:28, Mark 14:24, Luke 22:20. Jesus teaches what promises are required from you in Matt, Mark, Luke and John to complete your salvation covenant. You need to study your Bible to learn and understand each piece, so you can make each of these promises to Jesus. Some of those promises are easy and self evident, but some of the other promises require deeper learning.

(1) We must admit we have sinned, and we know our sin was wrong, and we understand the Father must punish all sins or He becomes our accomplice, Revelation 20:11-15, Romans 3:10-18, 1 John 1:9.

(2) Some people try to earn their salvation by trying harder to obey the 10 Commandments, as if future obedience could erase the past times when they violated those spiritual laws. Please note; the 10 Commandments can only condemn sinners for every time they violate the laws of eternal righteousness, Romans 3:10-20. recorded in Colossians 2:14 and Revelation 20:12.

(3) Every person is absolutely condemned by our willful sins, so we can't do any good work to save ourselves. Sinners can't do anything righteous Romans 3:19. Those why try to save themselves by self righteous good works can only follow their sinful heart to guide them. So their good work comes out crooked, while their sinful pride helps guide their good works every time. Jesus must pay for those sins too.

(4) Eternal righteousness requires a holy blood sacrifice from a righteous Person greater than that sinner. Jesus is the only One who fits that requirement. Animal can't pay for our sins for two reasons; (a) they too are subjects of the curse in Gen. 3:14, Romans 8:22. (b) Animals have a lower spiritual value than humans, Gen.1:26. That is why Silas teaches "It is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins' in Hebrews 10:4.

(5) Jesus teaches we must be humbled like a child, "unless you are converted and become as a little child, you will by no means enter the Kingdom of Heaven” in Matt. 18:3. A child is more honest than adults, because a child knows when they break something they can't fix it. We must understand our sins violated righteousness and we can't fix it. So we must trust God's help.

(6) Salvation only comes by faith in Jesus' blood - only, "For by grace you have been saved through faith not by works, and even that saving faith is a gift from God, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8-18.

(7) The wanna-be-Christian must believe that Jesus' blood and His resurrection has the authority before the Father to pay for all of their sins, Romans 3:24-25, Colossians 1:12-14.

(8) The wanna-be-Christian must feel convicted and hate their sins enough to want to quit sinning. That is the repentance we see when Peter preached in Acts 3:19. Repentance requires us to have a heart wanting and learning to quit our favorite sins. Then we can confess our sins to God and find mercy like we see in 1 John 1:9. No one can remember every sin they have done, but their repentant heart of deep regrets for their sins that saves them. They know and admit they need the blood of Jesus. If wanna-be-Christian remember something later that they want to make sure is forgiven; they should confess that sin, believe it is forgiven, and leave that sin. Confessing sins requires faith to believe God will forgive the sins as He promised

(9) The wanna-be-Christian must learn to forgive others who sinned against them, "If you do not forgive others who sinned against you, neither will your Father in Heaven forgive your sins." Matt.6:15, Mark 11:26. When you forgive their sins, you only remove yourself from being their judge then let God judge them. Remember to guard yourself that they can't do the same things to you, again.

(10) The wanna-be-Christian must believe that God is All Powerful, able to make the galaxies and the Earth in 6 days, in Exodus 20:11 + 31:17. The 10 Commandments have God's sworn oath that He made the galaxies and Earth in 6 days. Silas explained God's requirement in Hebrews 11:3-4 "By faith we understand "the things we see were made of things which are not visible" - atoms and molecules. The ‘god’ of evolution doesn't exist, so he can't make anything, and he can't save anyone.

(11) The wanna-be-Christian must be learning to live for Jesus only; "No one can serve two masters; either he will hate the One and serve the other, or he will be loyal to to the One and despise the other. You cannot serve God and things money can buy.", Matt. 6:24.

(12) The wanna-be-Christian can't do both; he can't love holy God, and also love the happiness of sins from this world, 1 John 2:15-17. That is unacceptable to Jesus. That would be spiritual adultery with sins of this world, it is rebuked in James 4:4, "Spiritual adulterers and adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the worlds sins is enmity with God? Whoever wants to be a friend of the world's sins makes himself an enemy of God..." Look and see if that verse is in your Bible?

(13 ) God explains His requirement for us to flee from sins in 2 Cor. 6:17, "Come out from the world's sins and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. I will be a Father you, and you shall be My sons and daughters says the Lord Almighty." That is another essential doctrine. My life changed that day I made that covenant with Jesus. It was like a light was turned on in my soul.

(14) Silas explained in Hebrews 12:4-13 that God disciplines every one of His children. And the wanna-be-Christian must accept God's authority to discipline them. Don't worry, God doesn't have a large paddle that He swings down from the clouds to swat your seat. Instead God sends real life problems that aim at that type of failure and learn painful lessons. I have seen some people give up their faith because they didn't want God to be allowed to correct their lifestyle and oppose their decisions to sin.

(15) The wanna-be-Christian must trust their life and death to God's decision, not demanding their will. Jesus declared His protection for all animals by the example of sparrows. "not one of them falls to the ground dead apart from the Father's decision." Matt. 10:29 and Luke 12:6-7. We are a higher spiritual importance than animals. Definitely - God is in direct control of our life and death, Romans 8:28 God's requires our promise to trust His protection for us as our Lord and Master. If your God holds all atoms together, He has enough wisdom and power to decide the times of your life and death. That trust is a part of our salvation covenant as explained in Rev. 12:11. This verse is talking about the salvation and death of the future tribulation saints; "they did not love their lives to the death." Our saving faith must trust God to rule over our life and death. But the unsaved people trust their own tricks and street smarts to protect their life. They think they are their own god, and act as if they are their own god.

(16) Gentiles feel comfortable in their sins, like a pig wallowing in cool mud. When you tell Gentiles the holy angels are recording their sins in those books in Rev.20:12, and then warn them they are headed to eternal judgment, they feel stressed. God's gift for them is explained in 2 Thessalonians 2:10. They must receive a gift from God to "love God's painful truth". The way that gift works is interesting; Those who have that gift perk-up when we hear God's painful truth. they focus in and listen better trying to hear and understand God's painful truth. That is a funny and unusual gift. Please ask for that gift and look for it. Then you will feel safer when you hear God's painful truth.

If those Bible verses are true; that Jesus requires additional promises for the wanna-be-Christian to complete their salvation covenant; if each of those verses describe essential parts of the salvation covenant; why doesn't the Bible tell us to take our salvation covenant seriously? The following verses teach about completing our salvation covenant..

- James 1:4 "count real life's troubles as good for you, when you fall into various difficulties, challenges and trials, knowing the testing of your faith produces spiritual growth and maturity. So let those difficulties grow your faith, that you may grow to maturity and become complete, not still having sinful failures in your life. That you may become mature and complete lacking nothing."

- God's Word summarizes the completion of those requirements by saying; "that you be made complete" in 1 Cor. 13:9.

- Silas explains in Heb. 12:1-2 "let us run with endurance the race that is set before us... looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith."

- "In Jesus dwells all of the fullness of the Godhead, and you are being made complete in Him" Col.2:10.

- Again Paul taught "Therefore, having these promises beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh, maturing holiness in the fear of God." 2 Cor. 7:1

- "For this is the will of God, your sanctification." in 1 Thess. 4:3

- Paul taught "as you have always obeyed... work out your sanctification with fear and trembling." Philippians 2:12

- Jesus told His disciples in John 15:14 "you are my friends if you do whatever I command you."

- learn to obey "so that Jesus may establish your hearts as blameless in holiness before our Father God at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ"

- “For we are Jesus' workmanship - His work project, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which the God Head preplanned before creation that we should learn to walk in them." Ephesians 2;10.

- "We are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses in Heaven watching us. Therefore, let us lay aside every weight, and our favorite sins which so easily ensnare us, and let us run with endurance the race that Jesus set before us, looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith" Heb. 12:1

- Paul says "I beg you brethren by the mercies of God that you present all of yourself to God as a living sacrifice, holy obedient, acceptable to God, that is your reasonable worship to God. And do not be conformed to the sins of this world, but be transformed by God renewing your mind. By that, then you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." in Romans 12:1-2

- "In a great house there are various containers, some made of gold or silver, but some are made of wood or clay. Some containers are for honor, some make themselves for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from dishonorable sins, he will become a container for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work." 2 timothy 2:21.

- “God is righteous, and in Him is no sin at all. If we say we have fellowship with Jesus, and living with sins, we lie and do not practice the truth." 1 John 1:5-6.

- "By this evidence we know that we know Jesus, if we obey His teachings. Those who say 'I know Jesus', but do not carefully obey His teachings, is a liar, and Jesus' truth is not in him..." 1 John 2:3-4.

- "Those who say they abide in Jesus, must himself also live obedient just as Jesus walked." 1 John 2:6

- "young Christian, abide in Jesus, that when He comes back and appears, we may have confidence in Him, and not be ashamed, rejected by Him at His return." 1 John 2:28

- "Every one who practices righteousness is born again in Jesus." 1 John 2:29.

- "Everyone who has this eternal promise in Jesus, purifies himself just as Jesus is holy."1 John 3:3.

- “Whoever abides in Jesus does not live in sins, Whoever lives in sins has not known Jesus." 1 Jn.3:6.

- "Those who practice righteousness are righteous, just as Jesus is righteous. Those who live in sins are of the devil." 1 John 3:7-8.

- "Whoever has been born again does not live in sin, for God's righteous seed remains in him correcting him, so he can't survive the chastening of living in sin, because he has been born of God.” 1 John 3:9.

- “Those who do not practice righteousness are not of God." 1 John 3:10

- "Jesus' commandments are not burdensome. For whoever is born again, overcomes the sins of this world." 1 John 5:3.

- "We know that whoever is born again does not live in sin; but his self control keeps him from sin. That is why the wicked one can not harm him."

Starting at creation Lucifer was assigned to be a witness in God's court system. Lucifer has lost several rights because he rebelled such as his sanctuary in Isaiah 14:12-15. And he lost the keys to death because he killed some that he shouldn't have like Jesus. Rev. 1:18. But the has not lost everything yet, like he still makes accusations in God's court. The Bible verse the devil quotes against you and me is Ezekiel 18:4 "The soul that sins shall die." Every time you or I sin, the devil accuses us in God's court wanting to kill us. That is when Jesus Advocates and intercedes for us. In the Father's court Jesus negotiates a lesser penalty for us. That penalty might feel like it can kill us. Jesus is our "Advocate with the Father" in 1 John 2:1-2.

Do yourself a life time favor by doing a word study on "die" throughout the Bible. Notice every time the Bible uses the word: “die". You will find that sin has been the cause of death all along. When the Christian reaches maturity where they hardly ever sin, they also get past that fear of sudden death. John explained that as "There is no fear in a mature Christian, because mature love and obedience to God doesn't need that fear. But a sinning Christian has not been made mature in God's love. We love the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit because He first loved us. 1 John 4:18.

Jesus teaches, "Do not gather your treasures on Earth... For where your treasure is, there is where your heart is also." We all see it Americans spend their money on things that will please their heart and make their sinful self feel better. But that is Jesus' position, not the world's glitter Also the way people spend their extra time is the same subject. People have extra time every week after they do what they must do. Then they spend their extra time on where their heart is. James 4:4 catches them in their sin; "You adulterers and adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever wants to be a friend of the world's sin makes himself an enemy of God.” Please look and see if James 4:4 is in your Bible.

Maybe your Church friends believe they can live like that because the pastor does, and he gets away with it. We see that problem with those who like John Mac. If John can live like that and still go to Heaven, then other Christians can too. Oops, why do they think John is going to Heaven? Why does God not chasten John for all of his sins? Please go back through all of those previous Bible verses and compare God's Word with what you know about John' secret life style. Is the Bible true? Then believe it. Do not follow any man including John Mac.

Pastors Are Judged More Strictly In James 3:1-2, Because Of Their Pastor's Oath To Jesus.

When a man promises to become a pastor for Jesus -then Jesus receives their promise as an eternal agreement. Every week that pastor looks into the Bible for sermon ideas, and the Holy Spirit brings his eyes to different verses on a valuable topic. Sometimes the pastor can't quickly picture that topic as a coherent sermon. So some times the Holy Spirit will lead them to another sermon topic. When they say no to God's Holy Spirit, they start falling down into becoming another false teacher. So deciding not to teach what God directed them, instead they pick happy stories. That is why most pastors sermons have no deep value. If those sermons don't get enough money to pay the Church bills and money for him, then he tries another trick. The next trick is to make flattering speeches. Another trick is to chant spiritual spells on the people, asking spirits to make the people feel good from his sermons. And happy donors give him more money.

In 2 Timothy 4:3-4 by the power of the Holy Spirit Paul predicts whole Churches that only want to hear stories that God loves them just the way they are. Those people want their ears puffed up to feed their pride and they don't need to grow in obedience. The pastor uses lies-flattery-witchcraft to cause the people to feel good from his sermon, and give more money. But those spells also cause spiritual blindness Jude 1:16, so the people can't feel conviction like Jannes and Jambres witchcraft' in 2 Timothy 3:8. That is witchcraft, wanting the people to feel good and keep giving him money. Their spells make his listeners find fun sins to focus their life on. If you want to live for Jesus and go to Heaven, you need to get away from that pastor's witchcraft like 2 Timothy 3:5 teaches. God is telling me some will not believe that teaching; so test it by opposing every sin you know about the pastor. What is that hatred you feel when you oppose the pastor's sins?

Is your goal in life to be happy within yourself until you die? Where do you think your soul will go forever? Also, when Jesus comes to get His Church, if you're not ready to up to Heaven, then He must leave you. Revelation 6:9-11 proves that Jesus will tell each wanna-be-Christian why He must leave them here. Then they will get serious about obeying Jesus during the next 3 years before the devil's world govt brutally kills them. Why would anyone wait until then before they get serious about reading the Bible and obeying God's Word? If that happens to you, you will not like the terrors of the 7 year Tribulation, and that brutal death. What are you waiting for?

God answered this problem several thousand years ago in Deuteronomy 6:5 "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength." Why did God put Himself through all of the pains of making the Earth and humans, then allow them to play with sin and learn to hate it, then ransom the wanna-be-Christians from eternal Hell? God is building a large family to live with Him in Heaven forever. Hebrews 2:13 quotes Jesus in the future saying "Here am I and the children whom the Father has given Me." You are invited.

We Gentiles can be stupid, we can live in our world of imaginations and believe every thing is OK. God's Word cuts right through false imaginations to get to the real heart. Are you ready to repent?

What do you spend your time on? What do you spend your money on? That is your god. You can't serve Jesus and other gods. If you do those things to block God out of your life, what will happen to you when you stand before God? We must accept the painful truths if we want to go to Heaven.

Please make a deeper covenant commitment to Jesus today. Every few weeks, commit yourself to Him more.

Read God’s Word. Grow in obeying God’s Word. Share God’s Word.
