I think one detail that would be helpful to keep in mind is that this is still the “church age” (Revelation 2 and 3 in your Bible), and not yet the literal 7-year Tribulation. There are still some unfulfilled prophecies that happen during the “church age”, and before the literal 7-yr Tribulation. So, yes satan is trying his hardest to do his evil rule sooner, he can’t fight God, His Creator, who holds his molecules together. God is using this, though, to raise up more people to stand up to evil and grow stronger in being Biblical protectors
